More Plantings

You’ll notice we’ve expanded out plantings and have added several new pots. I’ve planted eggplants in the larger ones. From what I’ve read I’m worried it may be slightly early in north Georgia to have eggplant, but we’ll need to wait and see. Also I have two Pablano peppers planted in the smaller pots. The rest are empty thus far. I started both of them as seeds inside. I also have Cherry and Yellow tomatoes inside that I’ll be planting in a few weeks hopefully.

Notice my Japanese Maple is starting to leaf. That was my first foray into having a potted plant. I bought that 3 years ago and amazingly it’s still alive.

New Trellis

The bamboo and string didn’t work out too well, so I went out and bought a real trellis for my peas to grow on.

Peas are growing…

They’re getting a little bigger. I’ve added some bamboo poles with some twine running between them for the pea tendrils to grab onto. Don’t know if this will work but we’ll give it a try. Notice the small containers in the background. I think we’ll use those for Herbs later.
