It’s been about a week since i’ve noticed the first pea pods. We have many of them now, but the peas are really starting to droop and wilt. I hope they make it for a few more weeks.
Also, the tomatoes and peppers are really starting to grow. The eggplant is looking better but still hasn’t grown much. I think it’s still a little cool for them. I may need to reorganize my layout a bit. The leaves on all our trees have finally come out and the deck is a little shady in the area where we’ve placed the pots. I think we’ll end up moving them toward the middle of the deck so they get enough sun. It doesn’t seem to have affected any growth yet, but i’m worried that it might.
not to worry..droop and wilt is temporary and can be easily remedied..MOVE THE PEAS! SING to them in that deep baritone I’ve heard in the background of phone chats with Assistant Farmer…I’ll light a candle!
